The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, 
fully inspired without error and the infallible rule of faith and practice. 

(II Timothy 3:16-17)

The Eternal Godhead

We believe that there is one living and true GOD eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and

Holy Spirit.  (Matthew 28:19)

The Fall of Man

We believe that man was created in the image

of God, and that man, by voluntary transgression,

fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God.  (Romans 5:12-21)

Sin

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice, falling short of God’s standard and breaking His commandments. Yet, God saves and gives new life to all who come to Him in repentance. trusting in the Person and work of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23)

The Plan of Salvation

The grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

  (John 3:16; Romans 5:8)

Salvation Through Grace

We believe that we have no righteousness and must come to God pleading the righteousness  of Christ. (Ephesians 2:8)

The New Birth

We believe that at conversion there is a real change that takes place in the heart and life 

(2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20)

Daily Christian Life

We believe that it is the will of God that we be

 sanctified (set apart) daily, growing constantly in our understanding of the faith.  (Hebrews 6:1)

Baptism in Water

We believe the symbolic act of baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work (Matthew 23:19).

The Lord's Supper

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements, bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4)

The Spirit Filled Life

We believe that it is the will of God that we walk  in the Spirit daily.  (Ephesians 4:30-32)

Moderation

We believe that the experience and daily walk of  the believer should never lead him into extremes of fanaticism. (Philippians 4:5)

Male Leadership

Gender matters to God. Masculinity and femininity are not just social constructs. When God created mankind, He did so male and female. We believe in the pattern and principle of male leadership and responsibility in both the home and the church. (I Timothy 2:1-15)

Marriage

We believe that God created man and that He created them male and female. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family. (Genesis 2:24)

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the Second Coming of Christ is

personal and imminent.  (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17)

Church Relationship

We believe it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with the visible Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:25)

We believe that rulers should be upheld and obeyed at all times except in things opposed to the will of God clearly stated in the scriptures. (Romans 13:1-5)

The Eternal Judgment

We believe that all shall stand some day before    the judgment seat of God; and there receive eternal life or death.  (2 Corinthians 5:10)

Heaven

We believe that heaven is the glorious eternal home of born-again believers.  (John 14:1-3;  Revelation 7:15-17)

Hell

We believe that hell is the place of eternal torment for all who reject Christ as the one and only Savior.

 (Revelation 20:10,15)

Evangelism

"To Glorify God" : through Evangelism and Discipleship in love. A life in the Spirit built on a biblical foundation, resulting in avoiding the excesses of emotionalism, while providing a stable community for Christians to mature in their faith.(Matthew 28:19-20)

Worship

We believe in worship that is spiritual, inspirational, intelligent, and fruitful, emphasizing 
the Bible's teaching on worship.
